IRG Physical & Hand Therapy in Anacortes, WA is seeking an Exercise Specialist to guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs and support treatment setup. You will foster patient relationships, educate for goal achievement, and maintain a safe clinic environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred, and customer-service experience. HIPAA knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of body mechanics and exercises, HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs.
• Assist with therapeutic modalities and treatment setup.
• Provide encouragement and education to help patients achieve their goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean a safe clinical environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients.
• Utilize EMR and other clinic systems.
