Job summary

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy is seeking motivated Exercise Specialists who are passionate about helping others while gaining hands-on clinical experience. You will guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs and support modalities, while building positive relationships and maintaining a safe, clean clinic environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a related bachelor’s degree preferred, and customer-service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
• Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs.
• Assist with therapeutic modalities and treatment setup.
• Provide encouragement and education to help patients achieve their goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean a safe clinical environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinic systems.
