Job summary

IRG Physical & Hand Therapy in Arlington, WA is seeking an motivated Exercise Specialist to support patients with therapist-prescribed exercise programs and modalities, while helping build strong patient relationships and delivering a positive patient experience.

You will guide patients through exercises, assist with modalities, provide encouragement and education to help reach goals, maintain a safe clinic, and use EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises
• Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through therapist-prescribed exercise programs.
• Assist with therapeutic modalities and treatment set up.
• Provide encouragement and education to help patients achieve their goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean a safe clinical environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with patients.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinic systems.
