Geisinger seeks a qualified professional to supervise exercise and pharmacologic stress testing in our exercise labs, overseeing cardiovascular assessments and tailoring test termination based on patient responses. The role also helps implement outpatient cardiac rehabilitation and leads education for patients and staff.
Candidates must have a Master’s in Exercise Science, ACSM-CCEP certification within 2 years, and BLS/ACLS, with at least two years of related experience.
Supervises the exercise and pharmacologic stress testing in the exercise labs at primary location and outreaches, including assessing the cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise on healthy, cardiac, or high-risk outpatients and inpatients, as well as, the determination of appropriate test and test termination. Implements and supervises the physical exercise program of patients in the outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program at assigned location.

Position Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.
Master's Degree- (Required), Master's Degree-Exercise Science (Preferred)
Minimum Of 2 Years-Related Work Experience (Preferred)
Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist within 2 years - American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM); Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
