Altasciences is seeking a Medical Equipment and Systems Specialist to coordinate, verify, and maintain equipment and related system installations per study protocols and SOPs. You will calibrate equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure QA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related equipment/clinical operations experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and set up equipment per manuals or SOPs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate vendor visits.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation.
• Assist QA with audits and provide equipment docs.
• Verify vendor certifications and QA qualifications.
• Maintain equipment inventory and calendar.
• Train staff on proper equipment use.
• Support after-hours outages when needed.
• Collaborate with finance on service terms.
• Identify cost-cutting opportunities without compromising quality.
