Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Medical Equipment and Systems Specialist in California to coordinate, verify, and maintain equipment and related system installations in compliance with GCP and SOPs. You will calibrate equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and keep meticulous calibration records to support audits.

You will work with finance and QA teams, ensure vendor certifications, manage inventory, and help implement new technologies to improve service delivery while maintaining high customer

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-directed, motivated, and take initiative to identify client needs.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate equipment per manufacturer instructions and SOP; schedule calibration visits as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer instructions and SOP; coordinate visits with vendors.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation.
• Provide equipment documentation for QA/audits.
• Collaborate with departments to fulfill equipment needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain master inventory and calibration/maintenance calendar.
