Job summary

Parexel International’s Early Phase Clinical Unit in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Enrollment Coordinator I to ensure eligible participants are screened and enrolled per protocol and GCP standards.

You will collaborate with physicians, research staff, project teams, and sponsors to support clinical trials, manage enrollment timelines, and maintain study documents. The role offers exposure to multiple aspects of clinical research and associated training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, healthcare-related field and/or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical research, clinical enrollment, or clinical coordinator experience.
• Experience with clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and data entry systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential clinical trial volunteers according to protocol requirements and CFR/ICH GCP guidelines; ensure tests and eligibility are met.
• Maintain timelines for assigned studies and enrollment processes.
• Complete enrollment for assigned studies and manage to minimize waste while ensuring source document QC.
• Assist in reviewing Informed Consent Documents, Study Protocols, and Case Report Forms.
• Monitor screening budgets and adhere to project budgets.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates for assigned studies.
• Develop training materials for department staff on assigned studies.
• Coordinate pre/post-procedure labs and follow-up as required.
• Enter data into databases and support physician with flow sheets and study files.
• Support SOPs, GCP, and efficient clinical operations.
