Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Clinical Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of technicians in maintenance and repair of medical equipment, with staff development, workload organization and customer support. This role requires an associate degree in electronics or biomedical tech and several years in the field.

You will manage budgets, supervise Biomedical personnel, and provide training on equipment operation, calibration, and quality assurance, while evaluating new equipment and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Biomedical Equipment field.
• CBET certification preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy/physiology relating to clinical equipment.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and mechanical schematics.
• Familiarity with regulatory policies and relevant test equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets to ensure efficient operations.
• Supervise Biomedical personnel.
• Provide technical training on equipment operation, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Evaluate new equipment for conformance to standards and make recommendations.
• Perform repairs, calibration and preventive maintenance on medical devices.
• Participate in hazard identification and device reporting procedures.
• Instruct customers on safe equipment operation.
• Maintain inventory and records; participate in on-call rotations.
