Cleveland Clinic Health System is expanding its Neurological Institute with a state-of-the-art facility on Main Campus. We are seeking a Clinical Engineer I to manage technical operations and equipment procurement to support advanced neurological care.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, CMMS documentation, equipment evaluation, and cross-training of biomedical staff. A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or 4 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of complex electronic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems related to clinical equipment.
• Ability to function independently in technical and administrative capacities.

Responsabilités

• Provide engineering support, preventive maintenance, and evaluation of equipment for Cleveland Clinic.
• Maintain documentation of equipment, maintenance agreements, service logs, and projects.
• Perform incoming inspections of new equipment and CMMS data entry.
• Create or customize systems and components to support clinical operations.
• Provide on-the-job cross training to technicians for devices they are knowledgeable with.
• Lead projects and initiatives within the assigned work group.
