Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with MaineHealth to offer travel nurse opportunities across a network of facilities committed to safe, high-quality patient care. Assignments are 8, 10, or 13 weeks, with housing options or tax-free subsidies and guaranteed hours.

Locations include MaineHealth facilities in Biddeford, ME, with weekly pay and strong career development support through a nationwide facilities network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
• Degree from an accredited school
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient

What You’ll Do:
