Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with MaineHealth to place travel nurses throughout MaineHealth facilities, including Portland. Positions span 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility need, with guaranteed hours and housing support.

Candidates should have at least one year of acute care experience and relevant certifications. This travel role offers weekly direct deposit, a 401K with company match, and opportunities to earn referral incentives, making a meaningful impact in patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Abide by code of conduct and compliance policies and expectations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What You’ll Do:
