Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Educator to promote high-quality, cost-effective health care through expert clinical education.

You will collaborate with leadership to plan and implement goals and foster a climate of innovation with the clinical education team and staff. The role requires nursing leadership experience, a Bachelor’s and ideally a Master’s in Nursing, and at least three years as an RN in relevant settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in a care setting applicable to the service or initiative.
• Experience in nursing staff development or nursing leadership.
• Willingness to meet credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate staff on regulatory standards, current clinical practice issues, and safety standards.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate the orientation process for new unit staff.
• Participate in processes to determine unit competencies and assure staff competency.
• Participate in unit- and hospital-wide quality improvement activities.
• Maintain staff education tracking records.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and Unit Leadership to achieve goals.
• Attend ongoing educational opportunities and provide summaries to groups.
• Participate in hiring interviews and make recommendations on fit.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations and develop individual educational plans.
• Encourage staff participation in seminars and governance activities.
