Job summary

Family Health Center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Clinical Trainer/Nurse Educator to develop and deliver education programs that promote high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and create standardized training materials.

The role includes onboarding new staff, facilitating classroom and virtual sessions, and supporting regulatory compliance and quality initiatives across ambulatory sites.

Qualifications

• Active RN license strongly preferred; minimum active LPN required.
• 5–7 years of clinical nursing experience, outpatient or ambulatory care preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory, leadership, or staff development experience preferred.
• Epic or other electronic health record (EHR) experience highly preferred.
• Ability to present and facilitate training sessions for groups of 25+ participants.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate standardized clinical training programs that support organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired clinical staff.
• Provide classroom, virtual, and hands-on clinical instruction to support staff competency and development.
• Support ongoing competency validation and annual skills assessments for clinical staff.
• Partner with leadership and quality teams to align educational activities with clinical outcomes and regulatory standards.
