Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
• Three (3) years of acute care clinical experience within the last five years.
• Current RN licensure by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or comparable clinical licensure with ACLS and PALS included within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and develops education programs for hospital staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education.
• Delivers educational activities using adult learning principles and innovative instructional methods to improve staff knowledge and patient outcomes.
• Evaluates program effectiveness, maintains documentation, and manages continuing education accreditation and compliance records.
• Leads committees, teams, and projects to support organizational initiatives and evidence-based practice improvements.
• Provides consultation and clinical support, disseminating research findings into clinical standards and patient care.

Education
