Job summary

Tufts Medicine Care at Home seeks an experienced education specialist to develop and deliver staff education and competency programs for licensed and non-licensed personnel and volunteers. The role focuses on orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs to improve clinical capabilities across the agency.

The position requires collaboration with department managers, HR, and clinical staff, plus experience in EMR training and educational content creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or other clinical discipline.
• RN License or Physical Therapy License or Occupational Therapy License.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement orientation for agency staff.
• Assess learner needs and tailor orientation content.
• Create individualized orientation plans with goals.
• Document orientation processes and competency assessments.
• Arrange additional orientations as needed for agency-wide training.
• Oversee annual professional competencies and training programs.
• Collaborate with College Programs to assist student home care placements.
• Stay current with staff education through seminars and training.
