Job summary

Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, seeks a Program Support Specialist for the Office of Education to assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of educational programs within the department.

Under supervision of the Assistant Dean for Education and Clerkship Director, the role provides admin and program support to Clerkship/Electives/Sub-internship and Boot Camp Directors across New Brunswick sites.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field plus two (2) years of progressively more responsible administrative experience required.
Experience with Excel/Access required.
Familiarity with Academic Management Platform and Clinical Activity Tracking System is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to Clerkship, Electives, Sub-internship and Boot Camp Directors and/or the Chief of Education Division.
Liaises with students, faculty, residents, and affiliated sites regarding Clerkship/Electives/Sub-internships/Boot Camp.
Maintains and updates AMP syllabus and related course materials.
Serves as first contact for students with issues relating to CATS and AMP.
Prepares student activity schedules for each clinical rotation (150–190 students/year).
