West Tennessee Healthcare in Jackson, TN is seeking an RN Professional to coordinate and conduct orientation and ongoing education programs for personnel providing direct patient care. Under the Director of Clinical Education, you will facilitate clinical practice and professional development and evaluate needs to implement best practices and programs that support healthcare staff.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing education programs for both professional and non-professional

Competenze

• BSN required.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• Obtains AHA BLS instructor status within 6 months of employment.
• Within 1 year, obtains AHA instructor status in ACLS or PALS.
• 3 years of nursing experience with 2 years in a specialty area preferred.

Mansioni

• Develops and implements education/training programs for professional and non-professional staff that directly impact patient care.
• Implements the general nursing orientation program related to clinical practice.
• Instructs proper segregation and safe disposal of hazardous pharmaceutical waste.
• Represents hospital in community and professional development activities.
