Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse who mentors and educates clinical colleagues with just-in-time training. Embedded in the program, you will orient new staff, mentor preceptors, conduct field visits, and lead education while championing evidence-based practice.

You will coordinate training with clinical operations leadership, travel monthly (Ocala to Naples 2–3 times weekly) and work at locations such as Ocala, Brandon, Bradenton or Fort Myers.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as clinical preceptor/mentor.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in home health.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within service areas weekly.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates field orientation for new clinical colleagues.
• Provides bedside teaching and coaching to staff.
• Conducts field visits to assess quality and compliance.
• Reviews documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Identifies training opportunities and collaborates with Clinical Education.
