Job summary

Avanos Medical is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist for the Southwest territory to lead clinical education for product trials in acute care. The role supports field sales with training, conducts didactic and bedside coaching, and develops policies using clinical guidelines to drive adoption of specialty nutrition portfolios.

Required five years of clinical experience in acute care, RN or RD licensure, and strong PC skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in acute care setting.
RN and/or RD licensure required.
Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must travel up to 75%, including 50% overnights and 4 weeks away.
Ability to lift 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

Support the field sales team, sales managers, and Directors with all clinical educational needs and training.
Execute successful trials and implementations within the acute care setting.
Provide didactic/classroom style training in addition to bedside coaching for key product portfolios.
Lead customer assistance with developing policies and protocols utilizing key clinical guidelines and best practices.
Maintain clinical expertise on industry practices and trends to assist customers, internal stakeholders, and sales team.
