Job summary

Avanos Medical, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist for the Southwest region.

The role focuses on leading clinical education for specialty nutrition product trials in acute care hospitals, including CORTRAK Visualization, Nasal Securement Devices, and vascular access. The candidate will provide classroom training and live bedside coaching, and collaborate with the field sales team to drive program adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience in acute care.
• RN or RD licensure required.
• Proficient with Windows and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education for product trials and implementations in acute care.
• Provide didactic and bedside training for specialty nutrition portfolios.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Team to drive disposable sales.
• Develop policies and protocols using clinical guidelines.
• Support training programs with global sales training and marketing teams.
• Coordinate per diem clinical support staff as needed.
• Conduct annual competency check-offs for sales team and new hires.
