Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years as a preceptor or clinical educator with nursing/allied health students.
• 1-3 years as an academic nursing/allied health instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical training experiences for nursing and allied health students, aligning with institution objectives.
• Serve as liaison between academic institutions and the healthcare facility to facilitate partnerships and communication.
• Collaborate with nursing and department leadership to manage student and preceptor assignments.
• Maintain compliance training records for all students and ensure regulatory adherence before and during rotations.
• Participate in clinical affiliation agreement processes and ensure agreements meet regulatory standards.
• Provide orientation for students and outline facility expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary input to deliver training aligned with learning objectives.
• Review student records per affiliation agreements and state policies.
• Provide required educational reports to internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Support recruitment and retention initiatives for nursing and allied health students.
