Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to lead unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography. The role directs education-related work within Imaging Services and reports to the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education.

You will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents, monitor unit activities, and routinely report on effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Nuclear Medicine program
• 3 years of imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology or Mammography
• ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB certifications and BCLS required upon hire

• Deliver unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents.
• Direct, coordinate, and oversee education-related work within Imaging Services.

Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Consistently monitors and routinely reports on unit-based activities and effectiveness. Directly reports to the Manager of Clinical Education - Imaging.

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Must be ARRT certified with advance certification in area of educational instruction, i.e. (CT) (MR) (M) (VI) Upon Hire Required or
• ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
