Job summary

Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a Clinic Informatics Specialist (Scribe) to support providers with real-time documentation and coding in our Albuquerque clinics. You will observe patient visits, document encounters, and ensure accurate CPT/ICD-10 coding while collaborating with the care team.

Ideal candidates have strong medical terminology knowledge, good communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications (required).
• Clinical experience including shadowing or volunteering (preferred).
• Scribe or transcription experience (optional).

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patient encounters in real time.
• Join the provider in the exam room to observe visits and document structured notes.
• Assign CPT and ICD-10 codes accurately.
• Prepare After Visit Summaries.
• Support documentation improvement efforts with providers.
