Job summary

Ankle & Foot Centers of America is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting visits, patient history, exams, and procedures in the electronic health record. The role requires accuracy, discretion, and strong typing skills to facilitate smooth clinic flow.

Responsibilities include charting diagnoses and instructions, noting education provided to patients, and coordinating with clinicians. Light travel to other offices may be required; prior Epic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent required.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• At least one year of experience preferred.
• Light travel to other offices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are performed by the physician.
• Record patient medical history, exams, procedures, education, and diagnoses.
• Ensure correct charting of lab results, tests, and physician instructions for follow-up.
• Maintain efficient typing and use of electronic health records.
• Alert physician when chart is incomplete and ensure data accuracy.
