Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager to support new client implementations, collaborating with facility CDI teams to meet contractual obligations and achieve best practice CDI metrics.

You will help develop CDI policies, oversee daily record reviews, initiate queries, escalate issues, and ensure the CDI team has tools to succeed. Strong project management and physician collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; RN, MD, or MD equivalent preferred
• 7+ years acute care hospital CDI experience
• 3+ years prior management experience
• Familiarity with encoder and DRG assignment (MS and APR)
• Strong clinical understanding and knowledge of coding guidelines

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of a Clinical Documentation Improvement solution
• Develop processes to improve clinical documentation performance
• Manage KPI monitoring and reporting for clients
• Escalate issues to CDI management as needed
• Lead and train CDI staff and physicians on best practices
• Communicate program updates and risks to CDI leadership
