Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager to oversee CDI initiatives across client implementations and facility teams. You will drive best practice CDI metrics, develop policies, and ensure effective use of CDI technology, with a focus on physician engagement and timely QI reporting.

You will mentor the CDI team, manage KPI achievement, and collaborate with HIM, coding, case management and leadership to align with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• RN, MD or MD equivalent
• 7+ years acute care hospital CDI experience
• 3+ years management experience
• Familiarity with encoder and DRG assignment (MS and APR)
• Strong clinical understanding of disease process
• Knowledge of Coding Clinic Guidelines and federal updates to DRG system

Responsibilities

• Leads by example, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment to achieve results.
• Cultivates relationships with facility leadership to support CDI initiatives.
• Oversees productivity, quality, training, auditing, and reporting for the CDI program.
• Escalates issues to CDI leadership and mitigates risk.
• Assist with CDI technology implementation and client month-end reporting.
