Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services is seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical oversight, training, and direction to Housing & Homeless programs with a trauma-responsive, harm-reduction approach. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, mental health, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, or social work.
• At least two years of supervised behavioral health or substance use disorder counseling experience.
• LICSW/LMHC/LMFT or LPHA preferred; LPHA eligible.
• At least one year of full-time supervisory experience.
• Strong writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, and Google Apps.
• Inclusivity commitment across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and training to Housing & Homeless staff to improve staff skills.
• Engage in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, work assignment, supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Supervise records management and ensure compliance with agency and funder requirements.
• Oversee CSP-HI enrollments, authorizations, and billing.
• Assist Case Management to connect to providers based on continuum of care and residents' needs.
• Attend team meetings and case reviews and facilitate risk meetings.
• Provide monthly training to case managers on topics such as Motivational Interviewing, Stages of Change, harm reduction.
• Provide case consultation to support development of appropriate interventions.
• Work with individuals directly to assess needs and develop interventions carried out by the team.
• Provide crisis assessment, prevention, and needed intervention during scheduled hours and on-call nights/weekends.
