Job summary

California Medical Association seeks a Clinical Director of Aesthetics & Wellness to lead clinical governance across our center network in a hands-on, in-person role in Los Angeles. The role shapes treatment menus, protocols, and patient safety standards while guiding injectors and clinical staff through comprehensive training.

The ideal candidate is an MD or DO with an active California license, with aesthetic or regenerative medicine experience and a willingness to travel to multiple centers

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license to practice in California.
• Board certification preferred (dermatology, plastic surgery, or longevity/regenerative/functional medicine).
• Clinical experience with aesthetic and/or regenerative medicine.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve our service menu — helping to evaluate new treatments, technologies, and modalities before they're added, and retiring what no longer meets the bar
• Author and continuously refine clinical protocols, keeping current as devices, products, and best practices evolve
• Define patient-selection criteria, technique standards, and safety parameters that reflect real clinical judgment, not boilerplate
• Lead the training curriculum for injectors, NPs, PAs, and aesthetic staff across our centers
• Practice Medicine, In Person
• Travel between our centers on a regular cadence
• Perform or oversee good-faith exams
• Review charts, monitor outcomes, and be a trusted clinical resource our providers can rely on
• Help design and clinically validate new treatments and protocols as our longevity and regenerative wellness offerings expand

The Opportunity

We are a national beauty and wellness brand seeking a Clinical Director who wants an active role across all of our centers. As we continue to expand from an established aesthetics business into longevity and regenerative wellness, we want a physician with direct input into how that offering takes shape.
