ESSENTIAL DUTIES
CLINICAL PROGRAM OPERATION
Responsible for clinical programming compliance with outside agency guidelines. Integrate those requirements into the clinical program, staff training and supervision.
1. Define target population for whom services are provided in conjunction with leadership team and in accordance with the agency’s mission statement and clinical philosophy.
2. Be knowledgeable about current research in sex offender treatment and related disciplines, including state and Board licensure requirements; ensure best practices in service delivery.
3. Maintain and update a therapeutic treatment program for target population.
a. Ensure program offerings meet the needs of clients and referring parties
b. Ensure program offerings and staffing meet referrer demand
c. Ensure all clinical departments are well-staffed and trained
d. Develop and/or maintain treatment materials for ongoing programming.
e. Establish and maintain an ongoing method of program evaluation which measures the long-term effectiveness of the program.
a. Make recommendations for areas of growth for the agency (in terms of clinical service delivery)
b. Work alongside Leadership Team to research, find funding for new programming, etc
c. Workbook development; annual review for accuracy/updates
5. Develop, coordinate and authorize program budget expenditures in accord with the agency annual budget.
a. Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary action of clinical staff (in coordination with Supervisory Team and HR)
6. Oversee contract relations
a. Conduct/attend regular meetings between PPI and contracted agencies
b. Offer trainings or informational meetings with referral agencies to provide up-to-date information on PPI program offerings
c. Manage contract issues (in coordination with Supervisory team and/or Leadership team).
7. Participate in negotiating new and monitoring existing contracts (in coordination with Leadership team).
a. Conduct/participate in program audits
b. Supply contract reports/evaluation measures
8. Organize and conduct community education trainings and other outreach opportunities.
9. In coordination with Operations Manager, act as a checks-and-balance for accuracy in client billing and communication with relevant persons (e.g. primary therapist, probation officer).
10. In coordination with Office Manager/Intake Coordinator, ensure a smooth and timely intake process in accordance with budgetary expectations and referral demand
CLINICAL QUALITY ASSURANCE
1. Work with clinical supervisory team to ensure quality of service delivery
a. Ensure clients are being treated according to agency policies and procedures
i. Create/implement regular channels for feedback from clients and referring parties
b. Ensure appropriate staffing patterns
2. Work with Operations Manager to oversee policy and procedure compliance (e.g. chart audits, client payments, timeliness of charting and report completion).
3. HIPAA compliance oversight
4. Work with leadership on initiatives such as program, location, and/or service expansion/reduction, based on community/referrer needs and agency capacity.
CLINICAL STAFF MANAGEMENT
1. Oversee Clinical Supervisor Team
a. Ensure Clinical Supervisory staff are well-trained and supported in their work
b. Ensure PPI Values are reflected in Clinical Team
c. Ensure the quality of care provided through all PPI clinical staff
d. Facilitate clinical team meetings, including group supervision, case consultation,
e. Supervisory Team meetings, etc.
2. Responsible for assessing need and assuring adequate clinical staffing patterns.
a. Participate in all clinical personnel decisions.
b. Conduct annual performance reviews with assigned supervisees.
c. Maintain and update audit system for monitoring client charts.
3. Assess need for clinical training and manage associated training budget (in coordination with the Operations Manager).
4. Maintain program competences in psychological testing, assessments tools and related policies and procedures.
CLINICAL DUTIES
1. Maintain small clinical caseload and/or clinical coverage (dependent on agency need)
2. Observe direct services for quality assurance purposes.
GENERAL BUSINESS OPERATION
1. Participate as a member of the Leadership Team of Project Pathfinder, Inc./Pathfinder Counseling Services.
2. Work with Operations Manager and Executive Director to set strategic direction of the organization; develop best practices to achieve desired results; provide input on the agency annual budget; identify organization-wide issues, analyze and advocate solutions.
3. Attend/Present for Board meetings as requested; Monitor contract compliance and RFP
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
1. Attend agency meetings as needed
2. Present information at Board meetings, as applicable
3. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned

Salary: $80,000+ (based on experience)
Board approved Supervisor preferred, can be obtained during employment
Knowledge / Skills
Master’s or Doctoral level degree in psychology, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy or clinical social work. We are currently seeking professionals that have experience with issues related to sexual offense and problematic behaviors.
Required competencies for this position:
· Management Skills and Experience.
· Independent licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP); Board approved supervisor preferred.
· Knowledge of sexual abuse dynamics, knowledge of sexuality, sexual dysfunction.
· Knowledge of Criminal Justice system including sentencing procedures and probation/parole procedures or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
· Self-directed, organized, and highly motivated, with a tolerance for ambiguity
· Professional, responsible, dependable
· Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented
