Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead planning, design, build, testing, and implementation of clinical applications and upgrades.
  2. Serve as the primary technical expert for designated clinical applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  3. Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize workflows, and ensure application functionality aligns with clinical needs.
  4. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to application coordinators and IT staff.
  5. Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and training materials.
  6. Manage system configurations, security, and integrity.
  7. Facilitate communication between clinical departments and IT, translating needs into technical solutions.
  8. Participate in on-call support rotations.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies in clinical informatics.

Position is primarily remote (90%) with up to 10% onsite in Dallas, TX. On-call rotations may occur during evenings and weekends. The role requires onsite presence in Dallas up to 10% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience with PRD and non-PRD environments, troubleshooting, workflow design, and system access management.
  • Occasional travel to Dallas.
  • HS Diploma / GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Epic.
