Position Summary
1. Coordinates program development by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating Clinical Nutrition Services.
2. Facilitates the processes to interview, select, develop, and evaluate Clinical Nutrition Staff.
3. Implements and role models best practice in delivery of quality patient care across the continuum.
4. Identifies and implements research methods to support quality nutrition care using evidence based practice.
5. Leads Clinical Nutrition Activities.
Minimum Requirements
4 year college degree plus other schooling- or higher.
Completed - Approved Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Internship or Coordinated Undergraduate Program with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition
Masters Degree Preferred
Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration or Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in North Carolina required.
1 - 3 years Clinical Dietitian experience required. Pediatric/Neonatal Experience preferred.
