Are you looking for an opportunity to work within Paediatric Dietetics? We would also consider remote working; covering general, complex and HEF clinics via Attend Anywhere. You would support the wider paediatric team via Teams. We seek an enthusiastic and self-motivated Dietitian to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay for a part-time (0.63 wte), 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave from March 2025. The post is based at Royal Lancaster Hospital, with occasional travel to Furness General Hospital or remote coverage.

Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum pro rata
The post involves inpatient and outpatient work, managing a complex caseload across clinical areas including nutrition support, enteral feeding, gastroenterology, food allergies, feeding problems, Neonates, and Eating Disorders. You will collaborate closely with the paediatric MDT, including consultants, specialist nurses, psychologists, ward and support staff, health visitors, community nurses, and speech and language therapists. There are opportunities for professional development, involvement in audits, and student training. Hours are negotiable, and flexible working arrangements can be discussed. Applicants must be HCPC registered dietitians.
We operate from three main hospitals—Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital—as well as community healthcare premises across Morecambe Bay. Our services include emergency, critical care, outpatient, diagnostics, therapies, day surgery, and outreach services.
All new staff undergo a 6-month probationary period to integrate into the role and environment.
