The Clinical Dietitian provides clinical nutrition services, including medical nutrition therapy, as part of the healthcare team. Responsibilities include nutritional assessments using ADIME, consultations, documentation, interdisciplinary communication, education, research, and outpatient counseling, especially for GDM clinics. The role may involve home visits and coverage in various departments as needed.

Essential Functions:

1. Screen patients for nutritional risk using EMR standards, consults, rounds, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
2. Prioritize patients, document assessments, and ensure timely, accurate notes using evidence-based practices.
3. Communicate effectively with staff and patients, provide education, and participate in meetings and community outreach.
4. Maintain professional development through literature review, seminars, and certifications.
5. Support outpatient counseling, manage administrative tasks, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nutrition from an accredited program.
• Completed Dietetic Internship and eligibility to take the RD exam.
• Massachusetts licensure or eligibility.
• Up to six months preferred for full proficiency.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Massachusetts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, good typing skills, and flexible shifts.
