Job summary

Freeman Health is seeking a part-time Dietitian to support nutrition care for patients in a hospital setting. You will collect patient data, analyze needs, and develop nutrition plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will present nutrition information to patients, staff, and the community, applying professional judgment and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered dietitians must be registered with the CDR and hold a current Missouri Dietitian license.
• Professional nutrition care planning experience preferred but not required to state here.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care to patients per physician diagnoses and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and analyze patient information to create nutrition care plans and recommendations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team on nutrition care.
• Plan and present nutrition information to patients, staff, and the community; exercise independent judgment.

What You'll Do

Responsible for providing nutrition care to patients in accordance with physician's diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Obtains, analyzes and collates patient information into nutrition care plans and recommendations for nutrition care. Member of multidisciplinary health care team. Plans, develops, and presents nutrition information and programs to patients, staff, and community. Exercises independent judgment regarding patient nutrition care and completion of work assignments.

Requirements

• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Current Missouri Dietitian license.
