Job summary

Kettering Cancer Center in Ohio seeks a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join the oncology nutrition team, contributing to nutrition therapy for cancer patients and education on lifestyle, diet, and survivorship as part of a multidisciplinary care group.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to optimize treatment outcomes and support disease prevention through nutrition.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field required.
• Accredited Dietetic Internship or Practice Program preferred.
• Licensed Registered Dietitian in Ohio or eligibility with registration within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Requirements

Oncology nutrition services are provided at KH Cancer Care locations by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The Dietitian is a part of the multidisciplinary team who is responsible for assessment and implementation of Nutrition therapy and education of oncology outpatients who are receiving treatment for a cancer diagnosis. The dietitians also are qualified to discuss diet, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations for survivorship, health promotion and disease prevention.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree from Didactic Program in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field.Dietetic Internship or Pre-professional Practice Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation/Approval for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Dietitian and NutritionistRegistered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) or Registry Eligible with successful registration within 6 months of employment.Cancer Oncology Specialist (COS) preferred

Ohio Licensure through the Ohio Medical Board, temporary or permanent as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (prior to first day of employment)
