Principle LTC in Greenville, NC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess residents' nutritional needs, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes in collaboration with nursing, therapy, and medical teams. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes evidence-based nutrition, regulatory compliance, and person-centered care.

You will perform nutritional assessments, document findings in the medical record, educate residents and families, and support survey readiness while participating in care plan

Qualifications

• Current RD with NC licensure or eligibility to obtain NC licensure.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Nutrition/Dietetics from an ACEND-accredited program.
• Experience with clinical nutrition in long-term care and familiarity with MDS and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with residents, families, staff, physicians, and administrators.
• Excellent documentation in electronic health records.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and dysphagia management.
• Ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Responsabilités

• Assess residents’ nutritional needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust plans in collaboration with nursing, therapy, and medical teams.
• Document findings in the medical record.
• Provide diet education to residents and families.
• Ensure menus and meal plans meet clinical, cultural, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in care plan meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and support survey readiness.
