Duke Integrative Medicine, a multidisciplinary clinic focusing on a whole-person, patient-centered approach, seeks an outpatient, on-site 0.75 FTE Clinical Dietitian (Level 2) for their dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have completed trainings in integrative and functional nutrition therapy from credentialed providers, have an interest and experience in integrative modalities including body/mind practices, and possess 2+ years of direct patient care experience, preferably outpatient. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Level II
Functions as a team leader, overseeing all phases of nutrition care: assessment, planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of outpatients. Supports performance improvement plans, JCAHO, and other regulatory standards.
Education: Bachelor's in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or related field. Successful completion of a dietetic internship of at least 900 hours under an RD.
Experience: Two years in an acute care setting; supervisory experience preferred but may be waived.
Licensure/Certification: RD certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration; LDN license by North Carolina; or equivalent.
