Job summary

Adelante Healthcare Goodyear in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Clinical Registered Dietitian I to assess nutritional status and develop evidence-based nutrition care plans for patients across the lifespan, including Type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, and weight management.

The position collaborates with an integrated care team and establishes SMART goals with patients, scheduling follow-ups as needed within Adelante’s team-based primary care model.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dietetics or related field preferred (required for new graduates).
• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field required.
• RD/RDN credentials with licensure and board eligibility.
• CPR/AED certification per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card & DPS clearance.
• Proven customer service excellence with diverse populations.
• Experience with nutrition education methods and motivational interviewing.
• Proficient with MS Office and health IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Use the Nutrition Care Process to assess nutritional needs and document plans in the EHR.
• Coordinate with the Integrated care team to align patient care plans.
• Educate patients on medications, supplements, and interactions as appropriate.
• Develop and review educational materials for nutrition and preventive health.
• Educate interdisciplinary staff on nutrition guidelines and practices.
• Refer to interprofessional team members and community resources as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance in line with federal guidelines.
• Deliver telehealth education via landline, Jabber, Zoom, or mobile devices.
• Attend trainings and conferences for ongoing professional development.
• Maintain excellent customer service and effective communication.
