Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Clinical Dietitians to coordinate nutrition care for Veterans receiving Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) in coordination with the health care team. Candidates should be RDN/RD-credentialed, with strong knowledge of NCP and ability to collaborate with Veterans, caregivers, and Food Operations to enhance dining experiences and care quality.

Qualifications

• Hold either RDN or RD credential registered with CDR.
• Bachelor’s degree from US regionally accredited college or equivalent; ACEND standards apply.
• Experience with nutrition care using NCP and virtual care tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments for HBPC patients.
• Develop patient-centered goals using whole health principles.
• Collaborate with Veterans, caregivers, and care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with TJC and accrediting standards.
