Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Kernersville, NC seeks a Dietitian (Clinical) to provide Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) and collateral work in primary care/outpatient within the Clinical Section of NFS.

Qualifications

• Experience as an RDN equivalent to the next lower grade.
• Ability to apply the NCP (assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation).
• Demonstrated skill in interpreting research for evidence-based nutrition practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments using the NCP.
• Develop patient-centered goals and plans.
• Utilize virtual care to improve access and outcomes.
• Ensure independent record keeping and daily clinical activities.
• Collaborate with clinical and food service stakeholders to enhance care.
