Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) with CDR.
• ACEND credentialing requirements for non-credentialed applicants.
• Experience with NCP and MNT; ability to deliver patient care via telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition assessments using the NCP and determine malnutrition risk.
• Develop and monitor Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and adjust as needed.
• Utilize virtual care technology to improve access to care.
• Document patient encounters in ADIME format with accuracy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and leadership to enhance care.
• Maintain productivity and quality of care for Veterans.
