Job summary

Pappas Restaurants, Inc. operates this location as a Licensee of Luby’s Inc., under the trade name Luby’s Culinary Services. Registered Dietitians are interviewed to join the team at DHR Health facilities.

The Clinical Dietitian will assess nutrition, manage therapeutic diets, educate patients and families, participate in rounds, and uphold nutrition policies. Requirements include a CDR-registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Texas licensure, and a bachelor’s degree in dietetics or related field,

Qualifications

• RDN by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Texas state licensure requirements met.
• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nutrition care for patients with nutritional assessments.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Provide nutrition education to patients/families and attend rounds.
• Maintain clinical nutrition policies and procedures.
