Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Dietitian for PRN opportunities. You will assess, plan, implement, and monitor patient nutrition through the Nutrition Care Process and collaborate with the care team to meet age-specific needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and RD/RDN credentials, with state licensure to be obtained within 30 days of start. Excellent patient service and adherence to standards are essential.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and monitor care using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Provide patient-focused nutrition care and education.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered Dietitian

The TriStar Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served by his/her discipline.

• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age‑specific needs

• You will demonstrate knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum

• You will provide quality food for all customers in a sanitary work environment

What qualifications you will need:

• (RD/RDN) Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist

• (RD-STATE) Registered Dietitian - State must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Bachelors Degree
