HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our nutrition team. Under supervision, you will assess patient nutrition needs, develop and implement care plans, and document care in the medical record.

You will provide nutrition counseling across neonate to geriatric patients, help plan therapeutic meals, and assist in supervising Nutrition Services staff. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dietitian credential required.
• Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs of patients and develop care plans.
• Provide nutrition counseling across age groups including neonate to geriatric.
• Participate in supervision of Nutrition Services personnel.
• Maintain patient records and care documentation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager provides total nutritional care as a member of the health care team. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; communicates information pertinent to the nutritional care of the patient through written records systems. Provides high quality care to patients. Develops and maintains regular and therapeutic meals/menus. Provides nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families and/or significant other. Participates in the supervision of the Nutrition Services Personnel. The Clinical Dietitian strives daily to fulfill the objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services.
