Job Summary And Qualifications
The TriStar Food & Nutrition Registered Dietitian will be an experienced and competent dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher who is responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
What you will do in this role:
- You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served by your discipline.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to age‑specific needs.
- You will demonstrate knowledge to assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
- You will provide quality food for all customers in a sanitary work environment.
What qualifications you will need:
- TN Registration as a Dietitian.
- B.S. Registered with CDR.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Commission Dietetic Registration must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
About the Facility
Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services, including orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department that is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures, and holds a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed by neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists on site at all times.
