Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a dedicated team member to support patient nutrition by coordinating meals with nutritionists and healthcare staff. You will take orders by phone and bedside, assist with meal selections, and ensure diet orders are accurately followed.

Responsibilities include monitoring meal tickets, processing diet changes, and maintaining precise records. Prior experience in a healthcare call center is preferred, with a High School diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of prior experience.
• Prior experience in a call center or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections while considering cultural and/or religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets and modifies as needed to comply with diet orders.
• Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders while keeping accurate records.
