Atlantic Health in New Jersey is seeking a Dietary Service aide to support patients' nutrition needs. You will coordinate meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists, and take patient meal orders by phone and at the bedside.

The role requires sensitivity to cultural and religious dietary preferences, accurate handling of diet orders, and precise documentation for new diets, changes, tube feeds and NPO statuses.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets- this includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
• Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
