Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Nutrition Aide to coordinate patient meal plans with the healthcare team, take orders at the bedside and over the phone, and help select meals honoring cultural and religious needs. The role ensures diet orders are followed and records are accurately maintained.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0–3 years of experience, with preferred exposure to healthcare call centers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-3 years of prior experience preferred.
• Preferred: prior experience in a healthcare call center setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections considering cultural and religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets and revises as needed to match prescribed diet orders.
