Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Data Scientist LTE to join the BEAR team supporting Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Analytics in Research. You will work under senior biostatistics staff to design studies, develop analyses, and run data analyses for clinical and translational projects.

You will prepare data summaries, publication-ready tables and visualizations, and draft statistical methods for manuscripts and grant proposals, collaborating with investigators, clinicians, and software engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM with 2+ years as a Data Analyst or a Master’s with applied data science experience.
• Experience with statistics, machine learning/data mining, and developing statistical models and algorithms.
• Intermediate or higher experience in at least one data science language (R or Python).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to study design and analysis plans for clinical/translational research.
• Prepare data summaries, publication‑ready tables and visualizations.
• Draft statistical methods sections for peer‑reviewed manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Collaborate with BEAR team members and investigators in an agile environment.
