• M.D. with clinical informatics/data science training or Masters with relevant focus acceptable as alternative.
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity in clinical data science and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Establish and externally funded research program leveraging real-world clinical data, data science, and AI.
• Collaborate across Stony Brook Medicine, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and other university units.
• Teach at graduate level, mentor students and trainees, and provide service to the department and university.

Education

Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics, AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field

M.D. with clinical informatics or data science training, or Masters with clinical informatics/data science focus
